Clay is Bank SNB’s south Texas regional president and has responsibility for Bank SNB’s treasury management line of business bank wide. He joined the bank in 2013 as the market president for San Antonio following his role as regional president for a Texas-based bank. Clay has nearly 30 years of banking experience and has spent the majority of his career advising business executives and business owners in all aspects of financial services, strategic planning and decision-making.
Clay is a board member and director for the Valero Alamo Bowl, a board member and director for The San Antonio Symphony, and a director for The Texas Business Hall of Fame. Clay also serves as the vice chair of the Steer Auction Committee for the San Antonio Junior Livestock Show. He continues to serve the San Antonio and South Texas residents in Christy’s Hope for Battered Women and Children and continues as an inaugural member of the UTSA 24 group.
Clay earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, with concentrations in finance and economics. Clay and his wife, Julie, live in San Antonio with their four daughters and remain active in the community.
