Project Spotlight: Oklahoma Agents Alliance

Oklahoma Agents Alliance building

Tony Caldwell is the owner of the Oklahoma Agents Alliance (OAA), an independent insurance agency developer that helps individual agents create successful small businesses. By combining resources and building critical mass, the company enables agents to offer clients more insurance products at a better price.

Until recently, OAA had been leasing office space off of Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City. However, the company was experiencing rapid growth and needed a facility that could accommodate its immediate and future needs. When Tony discovered an office building in Midtown that was the perfect fit, he turned to Lynn Groves, his trusted banker of fifteen years to help secure it.

The building, built in 1929 and formerly a car dealership, was renovated in the ‘80s by a local insurance agency. So, the space was already designed to fit OAA’s needs. The company is modernizing the interior, however, with plans to add a gym and kitchen for employees.

“Having a good partner you can run ideas by, like Lynn, has been invaluable,” Tony said. “He worked hard to understand our business, so I had complete confidence as he counseled us about what financial structure would help us be successful.”

Tony’s partnership with Lynn began when he was a First Commercial Bank customer. When Bank SNB acquired First Commercial in October, Tony became a Bank SNB customer to maintain his relationship with Lynn and has been pleased with the transition so far.  “Lynn and Bank SNB have been terrific to work with, and the bank’s improved cash management services show it has greater capabilities to take care of us,” Tony said.
