Project Spotlight: Century Center, OKC
Century Center at the corner of Sheridan and Robinson in downtown Oklahoma City has been vacant for many years. But this prime location in the heart of a thriving city is no longer wasted space. Following extensive building renovations, the Oklahoma Publishing Company moved from its location on Broadway and now occupies much of the building’s first and second floors. Additional tenants like the YMCA, Mahogany Steakhouse and Revolve Pizza have claimed a spot in Century Center, which is nearly 90 percent leased with interest from more businesses on the table. Bank SNB financed the renovation of the 102,703-square-foot building while the City of Oklahoma City handled improvements to the parking garages that enclose the facility. This project was a true partnership between the public and private sectors and demonstrates how the right developers and sources of capital can come together to help grow our communities.
