Bank SNB Focuses on Customer Information Security with Announcement of Brad DeVorss as SVP

STILLWATER, Okla., - Southwest Bancorp (NASDAQ: OKSB) subsidiary Bank SNB is working toward placing customer information safety at the forefront of its business practices. Recently, the company announced the promotion of Brad DeVorss to Senior Vice President, Director of Information Security.

DeVorss brings more than 18 years of experience in information technology and network safety. He has been with Bank SNB for more than 4 years serving as a Network Security Administrator before being previously promoted to Vice President, Information Services Manager.

In his new role, he will lead Bank SNB’s implementation and maintenance of information security. Primary responsibilities include information security program development, disaster recovery, business continuity, and vendor management program development. 

“Bank SNB is committed to the security of our customer’s information,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Jim Bygland, “Brad is highly qualified and passionate about information security. He will help our company deliver a safer banking experience for our customers.”

DeVorss’ background reflects his interest in information security. He studied Computer Science at Oklahoma State University before beginning his career in information technology. He is involved in multiple professional organizations, including InfraGard, Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC).

Brad will serve the company throughout its footprint, but will be based out of Bank SNB’s Stillwater, Oklahoma offices.
